Dragonflies are just plain cool insects!

The beautiful and graceful hunter of the insect world are very abundant in Northeast Ohio. many of my acrylic paitnting feature dragonflies. This groovy design was pulled from a piece of artwork I created in Phnom Penh, Cambodia in 2015. A bit of computer editing and voila! The gigantic Electric Dragonfly Tshirt was born. There must have been a dozen versions I attempted but I settled on this as the most unique and striking design.

Demographically, women seem to get excited about this design much more than men. Do not tell me it is time for a design stating, “Chicks Dig Dragonflies”. Never say never I guess. And now I am wondering, I have never seen this animal as a tattoo. Wearing this design would be less painful! We really love this design and when our garden is swarming with dragonflies it reminds one of a prehistoric landscape.
